  • Weekly individual therapy to address personal challenges and apply DBT skills in real life.

  • Weekly skills training group (2 hours) teaching four key skill sets:

  1. Mindfulness – staying present and aware
  2. Emotion Regulation – managing intense feelings
  3. Distress Tolerance – coping with crisis without making it worse
  4. Interpersonal Effectiveness – navigating relationships with balance and assertiveness

  • Phone coaching for real-time help using skills outside of therapy.
  • Therapist consultation team (for providers) to maintain fidelity and support.

This program typically runs for 6 months to 1 year and is highly structured to build lasting behavioral change.

  • Weekly skills training during the couple’s session include:

  1. Mindfulness: Staying present and aware in interactions (both physical and emotional intimacy).
  2. Emotion Regulation: Understanding and managing emotional responses.

  4. Interpersonal Effectiveness: Communicating needs clearly while respecting each other.
